Jane Benson

Assembly District 4

Jane has lived in Suamico for 20 years and as a small business owner, she understands the needs of her community. Benson aims to break political gridlock in Madison and be a fair voice for all.

Brady Couthard

Assembly District 14

Brady, a seventh-generation Wisconsinite from Neillsville, switched from pharmacy to Politics and Law after the Parkland shooting. Active in March For Our Lives and Moms Demand Action, he champions gun safety and public health. Appointed to the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board, he expanded financial aid access.

Amillia Heredia

Assembly District 11

Amillia Heredia is a passionate advocate and leader. She raised awareness for survivors at Aurora’s Hope Shining Blue Event and mentors youth as a CASA. At UW-Milwaukee, she served as President of the Student Association, driving policy changes, and developed antiracism training as the Graduate Equity Team Lead.

Jarrod Anderson

Assembly District 19

Jarrod Anderson is a community-builder, lawyer, and health policy advocate in downtown Milwaukee. Formerly with the Red Cross in North Dakota, he led community health initiatives. Now at Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative, he manages legal affairs and chairs its charitable foundation. Jarrod also serves on the Finance Committee of the Milwaukee Parks Foundation.

Cathy Meyers

Assembly District 44

Cathy, daughter of an army veteran and Army Reserve nurse, grew up working in her parents' truck stop and diner. With 28 years as a public school teacher and roles on the Janesville School Board she advocates for education, women’s rights, and local issues. Cathy is focused on supporting the middle class and improving public education in Wisconsin.

Ben DeSmidt

Assembly District 65

Ben DeSmidt is a small business owner, former professor, and proud kid of a single mom. Ben plans to tackle the big issues and fight for the working class of the 65th District.

Avery Renk

Assembly District 48

Avery Renk, an Attorney and lifelong Sun Prairie resident, is running for the Wisconsin Assembly. He will prioritize public schools, environmental protection, healthcare access, and fighting gerrymandering. With a farming background, Avery advocates bipartisan solutions for issues like reproductive rights, gun violence prevention, and affordable housing.

Angela Stroud

Assembly District 73

Angela, an educator in Ashland since 2012, values understanding societal dynamics to empower positive change. She is running to bridge political divides and preserve democracy through collective action. 

Samuel D'Amico

Assembly District 82

Samuel D'Amico, a third-generation Italian American and middle-class Wisconsinite from Waukesha, is running for State Assembly to restore optimism and opportunity for children and families. Samuel believes in the transformative power of education to combat crime and poverty, advocating for hardworking Wisconsinites with a focus on ethical leadership and meaningful change.

Christian Phelps

Assembly District 93

Christian Phelps, an Eau Claire native and community advocate, runs for the 93rd Assembly District. A former student-athlete, he's committed to LGBTQ+ rights and public education. With degrees from Vassar College and Cardiff University, Christian focuses on pro-public leadership in Madison. He resides in Eau Claire, enjoying running, tennis, and local businesses with his partner.

Caden Berg

Assembly District 92

Caden understands the importance of family, hard work, and love for his community. Born from a long line of farmers, loggers, and working-class families, this has engrained him to work hard and help those around him. 

Tara Johnson

Assembly District 96

Tara Johnson, a leader in La Crosse County and Executive Director of United Way, runs for State Assembly to restore reproductive rights, protect democracy, support rural communities, and promote economic opportunity. With 30+ years of community building and public service, Tara aims to improve lives across Wisconsin. She resides in the Town of Shelby with her husband and children.

Jimmy Anderson

Senate District 16

Jimmy, the son of a Mexican immigrant and union truck driver, is a UW Law School graduate and founder of a nonprofit aiding drunk driving victims. Elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2016, he champions healthcare reform, environmental protection, and disability rights. Now running for State Senate, Jimmy remains committed to progressive values and social justice.
